Laal Singh Chaddha: It's A Wrap For Naga Chaitanya; Actor Gets A Grand Farewell As He Celebrates With Aamir Khan And Team-Watch
Actor Naga Chaitanya, who has already made a name for himself as a leading man in Telugu cinema, is all set to make his Bollywood debut alongside Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh in Laal Singh Chaddha. Somewhere earlier in July, he shared a picture of himself with Aamir, clad in army soldier's dress, on Instagram that really piqued everyone’s interest. Well, now, he has wrapped up his portion in Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir Khan and the team threw a grand farewell for the actor -- and celebrated with a cake cutting ceremony.

We came across a video straight from the sets, where we can see Chaitanya cutting the cake with Aamir beside him. In the short clip, we also see both of them feeding the cake to each other while the team was in applause. Meanwhile, earlier, it was reported, Aamir Khan had initiated the proposal to Vijay Sethupathi first; however, the actor backed off due to date issues. And that’s when Naga Chaitanya came into the picture.

In May, a source close to the development told SpotboyE that Chaitanya agreed to do a Bollywood film because he liked his role. “Otherwise why would Naga agree to make time for a Hindi film when he is so busy down South? In fact, he has been shooting for a film even now during the lockdown. Like his father Nagarjuna and his wife Samantha Akkineni, Naga Chaitanya has no craving for Bollywood. The only reason Naga agreed to do a Hindi film at this point of his career was that he liked the role,” the source revealed.

Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump, starring Tom Hanks. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the film is expected to release on Christmas 2021.
